What doesn't work? - Images selected are not uploaded
On this site you will be able create a custom watch face with the images you upload and image theme sets you arrange.
After you generate your watchface, you will be able to select any theme you created in settings.
As a first step we need to know which Pebble watch you are targeting, this information will allow us to best optimize the images and experience for you.
Quickly: You will be glad to know that drag and drop is accepted here. Drag to the tab's content area, drag to reorder your images, drag an image from a content area to a tab name to move it to that tab.
The page you are on is used to create themes. Themes are image collections, each tab shown is a theme, you can create new themes by clicking on "+ Theme"
You can rename an existing theme by clicking or double clicking on it's tab name and typing. Images that are duplicated and shared between themes only count as a single image. Images may be added to a theme by dragging them from your desktop or by clicking +
While we are on the subject of images, an effort is made by our site and the server to optimize them to use the least amount of space on your watchface. The more colors, the more space required, and vice versa.
About image processing.
If your images are exactly the right dimensions for the watch you selected, then we will not process them in any way, which means that you will see exactly what you uploaded in your resulting watch face.
note: Pebble Time and Round can display only 64 colors, for best results also use the pebble color palette, the watch will.
There is a great online pebble image converter out there.
This result table shows, what happens when you upload an image:
Additionally, the images in your theme will be displayed on the watchface for 60/n minutes, "n" being the number of images in the theme:
Remember you can change to your different themes in the settings for the watchface.
On this page you have one last chance to edit or delete any themes you have created. By now you should have noticed the information box that appears whenever you make changes to your watchface details. This box is a guide and gives you an approximation of how much space is left for any images you upload.
We tried to get close to the space that may remain for your images, but of course, it can be thrown askew by things like animated images like GIFs (we only use the first frame, btw).
Clicking the "Edit" button will take you back to that exit the given theme.
Clicking the Trash icon will remove that theme.
When you are ready and satisfied with your choices, click the "Okay" button, after a short time you should be taken to a page that will allow you to download and share your creation.
Your watchface instructions have been logged locally and will be
sent to the server and processed as soon as it comes back up.
Watchface by email isn't currently implemented.
We are sorry about the delay. Thanks for your understanding.
